Abbey - 2 Months Old!

I decided to photograph Abbey's 2 month portraits at her home in Costa Mesa. She was a bit fussy this day so we didn't take too many photographs. I mean a girl needs her space and her naps! She has grown so much since the 1 month session. We have already scheduled her 3 month pictures and I can't wait. She is soooooo stinking cute!

Abbey - 5 Weeks old

My first photographs with Abbey were when she was five weeks old. I had photographed her mommy's pregnant belly a few months before and couldn't wait to meet her. As expected she was so tiny and precious. We spent several hours in between the diaper changes, feedings, and outfit changes getting to know each other. I hadn't held a newborn in a while and didn't want to give her back to her mom! I had a great time and we have decided to photograph little Abbey every month for the first year and make a book of her growing up! Here are a few favorites. I just photographed her 2 month photos too. Posting those next!

I recently had the opportunity to photograph some beautiful people in the Temecula Wine Country. It was a gorgeous day at a gorgeous location. I met some very talented photographers and we all had a blast learning together. Here are some of my favorite images. Thank you to everyone who was part of this event!

Sandie and Paul Diamond - Rockwell Vermont, LA

It all started at Rutagaborz. Sandie and I met for the first time for lunch at one of our mutually favorite places to eat. We instantly had a great connection and it has grown ever since. Our next meeting was an all day event. We met to do wedding planning, lunch at the ceremony site, engagement pictures at Olvera Street, and rounded out the day with more pictures at the Dodger game. This gave me plenty of time to get to know this awesome couple. We had so much fun and I was so excited to photograph their wedding in January this year.

It was a gorgeous wedding. The ceremony was held inside the Rockwell Vermont Restaurant, www.vermontrestaurantandbar.com. It is owned by Paul's brother and completed construction just in time before the wedding. The ceremony was packed full with close family and friends. Sandie and Paul were all smiles as they proclaimed their love for each other.

The reception included twice as many friends and family and was held under the stars in the open courtyard of the restaurant. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away.

I was so honored to be part of this wedding and feel like part of the family now. Here are some of my favorite images. Thank you to my two assistants, Jeff Almquist and Jacob Austell for all your help.
